Panamanian rice with shrimp
DIFFICULTY: PREPARATION: Medium 40 Minutes
A tasty rice dish with shrimp, fresh vegetables and an aromatic paprika sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of rice
- 300 g of shrimp (peeled)
- 1 bell pepper (diced)
- 1 onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 400 ml vegetable stock
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- Salt and pepper
Steps
- Rinse the shrimp with cold water and dry them with kitchen paper.
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the garlic slices and fry for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is golden brown.
- Add the shrimp to the pan and fry for 3-4 minutes until cooked.
- Add the white wine and reduce.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
